Correctly disposing of RAUSCH packaging.

Treating nature and its resources with care is a top priority at RAUSCH. For this reason, recycling is an important topic for us, so we’re always working to bring new, innovative and recyclable packaging solutions onto the market.

Our Recycling Guide is designed to help you correctly dispose of your RAUSCH products. Keeping packaging in a closed-loop cycle for as long as possible conserves resources and gives raw materials a second life – and you can help by doing your bit!

Tips & recommendations

  • In Switzerland, plastic bottle bins can be found in many retail outlets next to the PET bin. In Germany and Austria, plastic bottles are disposed of in the yellow recycling bag.
  • Plastic bottles should not be recycled with PET beverage bottles.  
  • Aerosol cans are pressurised containers and belong in the hazardous waste.

Green Fact

Recycled PET can be made into regranulate, provided it is correctly disposed of in the plastic bottles bin. The regranulate is then used to manufacture new products. At RAUSCH, we have been using 100% rPET for all original-size shampoo bottles since 2021.

Green Fact

Packaging made of mono-material consists of only one raw material, which has the advantage that the packaging can easily be recycled without having to separate it into individual parts. At RAUSCH, we use PE mono-material for our conditioner and shower gel packaging, among other products.
